  • Family-friendly site one kilometre from the Coverack cove and harbour
  • On The Lizard Heritage Coast; 15 minutes' drive to Kennack Sands
  • Five-minute valley walk to Coverack; coastal paths nearby
Coverack Camping at Penmarth Farm is a peaceful, eco-friendly site with small, sheltered meadows above the fishing village of Coverack on the Lizard Heritage Coast. Surrounded by native plants and animals, it has access to a private five-minute valley walk to Coverack. In Coverack, there are most of the usual essential amenities, including a village shop, pub, takeaway and restaurant, as well as a harbour and a sandy beach. In the village, hire out a kayak or paddleboard to spend some time on the water if you wish. As an eco site, Coverack Camping at Penmarth Farm has many conveniently placed compost toilets and solar thermal showers. The large pitches have plenty of space, and campfires are also welcome. The farm is also a 15-minute drive from Kennack Sands and half an hour from Kynance Cove if you want to track down more beaches.

Main Field powered grass and gravel campsite

Liked Good size tent pitches, beautiful location, very quiet, not too far from shops and town. Friendly staff. Decent WiFi. Showers were hot. Plenty of bird life.

Disliked Showers could be set to run for longer once button is pressed. Only stays running for a couple of seconds. Lovers walk could do with some shingle/stones. It’s very muddy and slippy when it rains.

My favourite site ! Great position and eco friendly.

Sea View primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite

Liked What a super and simple (in the best sense) camp site. Facilities are spotlessly clean and sufficient for number of pitches. Basic but perfectly adequate facilities. Spacious and well laid out. Peaceful and quiet. A degree of trust on those who stay to keep it that way. Friendly Site manager ,Sam is very helpful and works hard to keep the site well run. There is a Shelter to sit and cook for those camping when raining. Picnic tables on site really handy too .

Immaculate compost loos, showers and under cover picnic area were great. …

Walker Pitch on Upper Meadow primitive grass tent campsite (backpacker, no cars)

Liked Easy to check in, with info on a whiteboard on arrival. Good access from the southwest coast path - not too far off the trail. Clean facilities. Quiet, not too busy - visiting early June. We had a very level pitch.

Disliked Very basic facilities - compost toilets, and showers that you have to keep pressing to run.
