  • Family-friendly site a kilometre from Coverack cove and harbour
  • On The Lizard Heritage Coast; 15 minutes' drive to Kennack Sands
  • Five-minute valley walk to Coverack; coastal paths nearby
Coverack Camping at Penmarth Farm is a peaceful, eco-friendly site with small, sheltered meadows above the fishing village of Coverack on the Lizard Heritage Coast. Surrounded by native plants and animals, it has access to a private five-minute valley walk to Coverack. In Coverack, there are most of the usual essential amenities, including a village shop, pub, takeaway and restaurant, as well as a harbour and a sandy beach. In the village, hire out a kayak or paddleboard to spend some time on the water if you wish. As an eco site, Coverack Camping at Penmarth Farm has many conveniently placed compost toilets and solar thermal showers. The large pitches have plenty of space, and campfires are also welcome. The farm is also a 15-minute drive from Kennack Sands and half an hour from Kynance Cove if you want to track down more beaches.

What customers say

This eco-friendly campsite gets kudos for its beautiful country setting and calm vibe, a short walk from Coverack village and the coast path. Campers rave about the roomy, tidy sites and clean, useful facilities, including great composting toilets and hot showers. Friendly, welcoming staff are a recurring highlight. While some noted basic facilities and spotty WiFi, the overall vibe is great, with many keen to come back.

Main Field powered grass and gravel campsite

Liked Great location, a spacious pitch that included a picnic table. The composting toilets were clean as were the solar showers. We were greeted by Sam who answered all our questions.

Disliked There is a path through the woods but be aware it isn't for everyone. I personally had no problem but older or infirm might find it a struggle. It is a great route into coverack.

Liked Friendly and welcoming site, really good communication about a late change of pitch number, loved the eco feel and were really surprised by how good the composting toilets were. 15 minutes walk down into the village… may be 20 coming back up hill!!!😁

Main Field powered grass and gravel campsite

Liked Went there early June so site was quiet. Lovely welcome. Pitch in the main field near toilet blocks. Pitch very level. Pretty site. Excellent eco showers and toilets. Very clean and tidy. Great location, very near to Coverack. Couldn't go to Coverack via the woods because of bad weather, but road way still very good, about 15 mins down, 20 perhaps up, with brief rest stops, we're 70. A lovely site to stay on. Will recommend it.
