What customers say
Fantastic site! Spotless washrooms, friendly staff, great views, and excellent food. Most guests rave, though a few noted small shower stalls and electricity costs. Highly recommended for its peaceful vibe and neat pitches.

Liked Compton Park is a lovely campsite. The staff are very friendly. It’s nice to have a restaurant on site. The shower facilities are spotless.
Disliked The shower cubicles are very small with a fixed shower head. I have long hair, but I don’t need to wash it every day, but it’s very difficult to not get your hair wet. That would be my only criticism.

Lovely quiet site, friendly hosts, great views and a nice on site cafe
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely quiet site, everybody was very friendly. Showers and toilets were very clean and the onsite cafe served lovely food. Fantastic views, well maintained pitches and a 15 minute walk into the village ( with an unavoidable calorie burning hill on the return leg). By car was less than 5 mins though. A big Tesco was within walking distance down a pretty trail or again by car 7 mins away.
Disliked Knocked one star off the rating as the showers, although clean and warm had small shower enclosures in a self contained toilet, washbasin and shower room(s) which in themselves were very nice. If the fixed head shower could be swapped with an adjustable head, it would make the experience easier and less likely to wet the floor outside of the shower which is where you get dried given the small enclosure.

Disliked Lack of security. Site very open to everyone as no security barrier or gates. We felt that we had to ensure everything was locked away at night. Some noise from local town which did disturb us but wasn’t excessive

Liked The the moment we arrived , we were greeted with a cheery smile by the owner. The site was very well organised, very clean and had superb toilet and shower facilities. The onsite restaurant was a wonderful surprise. and we enjoyed two excellent meals there, very helpful and polite staff.
Disliked The shower cubicles are a bit tight for tall people and have no racks to place soap etc.
