What customers say
Great sea views, quiet and simple, perfect for hikers. Toilets and sink are clean. Pitches can be sloped but flatter spots exist, especially in the top field. Close to Boscastle and coastal trails. Manager explained pricing for two people and offered a goodwill gesture. Good value if you don't need many amenities.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Awesome view, few people. Pitch up description perfectly accurate - it’s an absolutely basics site.
Disliked Lot of field is quite steep which might be a problem if busy but with few campers was easy to find flat spot

Great site, walking distance of Boscastle and the coastal path.
Primitive cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Perfect for what we needed. Lots of space. One toilet and sink in a shed—exceptionally clean and well stocked, with an outside wash-up basin and water point. Beautiful views from the campsite. The stunning coastal path and walk into Boscastle were close by and easily accessible. We had a lovely stay.

Just what I needed!
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked I camped for 2 nights and it was just right for what I needed. It wasn't busy so there was loads of space. Facilities were basic but good. 1 toilet & sink in a shed - clean and always well stocked, and a wash up basin/water point outside (cold water only). Steve the owner was really friendly and helpful, driving up to my pitch each day to check up on me. Beautiful views from the campsite. And coast path was really close and easily accessible. Really good price compared to lots of other campsites.
Disliked Minor downside is there are no bins on site. But it was easy enough to bag up all my rubbish and squeeze it into a bin on the main road.

Choose the top field and you'll be fine.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The views from the top field.
It was cheap.
Easy walk to the pub.
The loo was clean.
Disliked The hard standing area is not very appealing and appeared to mostly be used to store boats and caravans when we visited.
The toilet cabin is by the hard standing area and so is not very convenient if you are staying in the top field.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Very basic campsite with awesome sea views. Some sloping but not too bad. Outside shower (bag) available with screen, small toilet shed with hand-basin, double washing-up sink available. Picnic tables at one end of site. Phone reception good (EE).
If solo camping watch the charges as Pitch Up assumes everyone travels as a couple and I got charged double without realising- even though I’d clicked one person. Campsite refunded me though.
Short walk to Boscastle and south west coastal path. Location stunning.
