What customers say
This site boasts a great spot with roomy, tidy pitches and a chill vibe. Staff are friendly, facilities are spotless & modern, and it’s good value. Perfect for hikes. Some amenities were missing, and staff dogs were off-leash, but management's fixing it. Bell tent airbeds weren't a hit.

Family Hideaway bell tent
Liked Great location and lovely people.
Disliked There wasn't any mention of the double beds being inflatable beds. I would think that for £80 a night for two people we would have real mattresses.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Really appreciated the attentive and kind on site staff. Very understanding when my daughter had a camping wobble.
Some of the advertised on site amenities were not available- like evening meals which was disappointing but we were directed to a nearby pub/restaurant which was v.good but may have been a bit pricey if we stayed longer.
Overall great trip, as normal it’s people that make the difference and the crew were bend over backwards amenable. Thanks!
