What customers say
Friendly, well-kept campsite by the Thames, noted for roomy pitches & clean facilities. Staff are helpful & welcoming. Great for families with a central playground. Some mention aircraft noise from Heathrow, & occasional facility cleanliness issues at peak times. Parking is separate.

Great stay. Would go again if we're back in the area
Power optional grass campsite
Liked The staff are very friendly and accomodating, they helped with our extra questions straight away with no problems.
Facilities were clean and tidy, plenty of them to so there was never a queue or a return to our pitch due to the wait.
Plenty of bits for the children to do whilst we set up Sand pit, play area, pool table, football nets.
I can't comment on the WiFi as I never asked or tried to see if they had any, even for EE the signal was fine.
It wasn't a problem for us, and its more of a warning than an issue. Prepare your camping stuff before you set up, the tuck shop has got some good little extras at good prices but its not a shop it is a tuck shop so stop at a supermarket first if you need bits.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Really welcoming and helpful staff. Nice little games room for the kids. Showers were warm and powerful and toilets were clean. Great being so close to such a lovely stretch of the river, for us all to enjoy a paddle/SUPs.

Excellent site close to the river Thames
Primitive grass campsite
Liked This was a truly great find! So close to the Thames, had a beautiful swim evening and morning. The staff were incredibly helpful, shower block was clean, had everything I needed. Enough space for kids to run around while still enjoying peace and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Disliked Toilet & shower block need update. Don’t like that car can’t be keep on your pitch & has to be parked in car park.

Great place to camp with a fantastic location. recommend this place!
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Clean toilets and shower room. Not smelly at all, it was a joy to stay.
Disliked The ground in some areas are uneven and have holes which are a liability for old folk and children. Wasn’t informed there was free WiFi which would have been very helpful.

Love this site. Everything there.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Friendly, tidy, clean and well managed. All activities finished at 11 and the campsite was quiet after that. All the children played together which was nice to see.
Disliked Might like a shop for essentials (milk and bread etc)

Overall a decent family friendly site.
Power optional grass campsite
Liked The staff were very friendly and were very helpful towards my son who has disabilities. There is a park in the middle of the site, where the children can play and you can keep an eye on them. There were some activities like bingo and karaoke put on for entertainment on the evenings (we were only there 2 nights). The facilities are basic but clean and nothing was broken. They did the job. The staff, even when they were busy, always met you with a smile. All in all, a nice family friendly site.
Disliked The only thing was that you are in a flight path, so you will hear planes occasionally overhead but these were not that often and stopped by roughly 10pm.
