Prime riverside spot, great for Thames walks/cycles, near Thorpe Park & Legoland. Guests loved spacious sites, clean facilities & super friendly staff. Kids enjoyed the play area/games room. Minor noise from planes & water pressure noted, but overall a great family-friendly, good-value option.

Liked A site which reminds me of the original style site from my youth. Nice pubs in walking distance. Great atmosphere with people keeping noise down and respect the rules when we were visiting.
Disliked Not sure if the toilet and shower block will be able to cope if it's get really busy.
No recycle bins. Expensive electrics at £10 a day

Liked Great location along the Thames so perfect for walking or biking the riverside. The main grassed area was full of toys and equipment for the kids but there did not seem to be organised activities. There was a pub quiz happening on the Sunday evening however. Perhaps during the holidays there will be more going on.
The showers and toilets are closed for 2 hours for cleaning from 11.30! (Why not do one lot, then the other? Theres lots of children staying there.
I had asked for an early checked in to have a shower and get ready for a wedding which was not possible. This is pretty inconvenient if you don't have facilities in your vehicle.🤨
Friendly welcome and the price was right however and I would stay again.

Liked Schöner und sehr sauberer Campingplatz an einem Nebenarm der Themse. Gegenüber ist ein Badeplatz zum Schwimmen gehen. Ein Besuch im „Three Horseshoes“ ist zu empfehlen (ca. 20. Minuten zu Fuß). Vorzügliche internationale Gerichte. Mit Garten. Auch für Veganer geeignet. Hunde willkommen.
Disliked Der Flugverkehr kann etwas stören. Keine direkte Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel.

Liked Loved it here and so did the kids, we had an amazing time, the member of staff tried to get me a pitch close to where I wanted it so was very helpful. The showers were not far or the toilets or washing area which was very handy. There is a nice play bit where my kids made friends every evening which was lovely too. We stopped here to do the theme parks we are new to camping but my fave campsite to date. I will be back probably next year to do the same again. Just missing a swimming pool 🏊♀️
There is also a lovely boating lake next to this campsite if we stayed longer and weather was nicer we prob would have also checked that out.
Disliked You can’t park your car it is very hard to lug all our stuff back and forth being a mum on my own with 3 kids we also had a blue badge so some days were more stressful than others overall this is the only big thing that would make me debate coming back or not.
I am also sure the booking said there is WiFi but didn’t see any option in using any WiFi signal wasn’t an issue though but would have been helpful for my toddlers tablet as was annoying connecting her to my hotspot all the time :)

Cars can only be on site for loading and unloading as we don't have the capacity for cars to be parked on pitches.
