What customers say
This peaceful riverside campsite boasts roomy spots with fire pits and great access to the River Medway for watersports. Guests rave about the friendly, helpful owners, clean washrooms, and beautiful scenery. Nearby pubs and cafes are also popular. Though a few note a lack of showers and basic amenities, most found it perfect for short, back-to-basics trips and plan to revisit.

Nice area but wouldn't stay again due to noisy neighbours
Primitive grass and earth campsite (riverside)
Liked Good toilet facilities. Nice washing station and we had a river spot so the boys could fish. Good location for the local pub.
Disliked Pitches very close together. Advertised a quite time from 10.30 but we had people shouting and screaming next to us at 2am both nights. Made site aware but it didnt change the second night. Perhaps more space would sort this or make sure people follow the quiet rules.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Beautiful setting lots of space site owners were very helpful. It was busy as school holidays which was lovely to see lots of children running free and having fun. Noisy neighbours dealt with swiftly. As a solo traveller felt very safe. Site is locked up at night. Site owner made a point of checking myself and fellow campers were happy. Site owner advised Facilities are going to be improved, didn't affect me as I’m a wild camper. Cant recommend this place enough will defo be back.
