What customers say
This riverside site has spacious spots and great access for paddleboarding & kayaking. Guests love the friendly owners, beautiful scenery, and decent facilities (clean toilets, play area). While some mention no showers and older toilets, many enjoy the secure, "back to basics" vibe with locked gates.

Great campsite right on the river
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Loved the setting and the river access for launching our paddleboards.
Gates are locked at night so security is good.
There's a few drinking water stand pipes and a clean toilet block.
The owners also messaged the day before to confirm and to let me know there was a £20 returnable deposit fir the gate key, which was really helpful as I had the cash ready, very polite and organised check in.
Disliked The only slight niggle is the small launching area, lots of people blocking the access with their boards or canoes.
