What customers say
Guests loved the spacious sites, clean facilities, and helpful staff. Great for families with a play area, close to attractions. Busy times saw limited washrooms. Some noise from nearby spots, but overall a peaceful, dog-friendly place.

Liked Spacious, could being Garden games e.g badminton.
Security on the toilets to access with fob.
Family shower room.
Park was ample.
Shop had ample supplies, staff were friendly.
Disliked Shower wasn't brilliant. Sprays outwards not on you.
Our neighbours were extremely loud all day and night but once they left was a well rounded campsite. Not the campsite fault.

Overall, a great site, expanded toilet/shower facilities are needed.

Liked Great welcome from the staff, very helpful with one of our party getting their van stuck.
The pitch sizes are great, plenty of room. So nice to be able to have fire pit too!
Disliked Facilites are limited, with only 2 showers and 2 toilets in both the mens and ladies ablutions. For the size of the site this really isn’t sufficient.

From the manager: Thank you for a lovely review.
We agree about the showers, we are in the process of upgrading our shower block which is not an easy or fast process unfortunately. We are hoping for next season to have a new block. :)

From the manager: Thanks for a great review. Yes there are only two male, two female showers plus a disabled and a family room (both with showers too) but ideally we want more and are in the process of upgrading our shower block which is not an easy or fast process unfortunately. We are hoping for next season to have a new block. :)

Disliked Very limited range in the shop and what is there works out expensive, showers are extremely cramped - our key fob wouldn’t work with the family cubical so had to use the men’s with my son, Small secluded site - come prepared with everything as even local shops are dear

From the manager: Thanks for taking the time to review and feedback :)
First time we have heard to be expensive in the shop but we do have a limited range on food/fresh items if that is what you're referring to. Some guests schedule in a supermarket delivery which helps them meals, failing that we have Sainsbury's just a ten minute drive from us. There is a butcher and veg shop in New Romney (10 minute drive) if you like to shop local. Lydd (a few mins drive) has a Morrisons, Spar and Londis which are all convenience stores where the price reflects that.
Sorry to hear your fob wasn't working, hopefully you raised this with one of the wardens and they would have swapped it for you.
Hopefully we will welcome you back again :)

Disliked I think there should be more toilets on site

From the manager: Thanks for your lovely review and feedback. We are looking into more toilets/showers, it's just a very complicated/expensive job that will take time. We will look forward to seeing you next year :)

Liked We received a lovely warm welcome and found everything we needed for a comfortable 3 night stay in our campervan.
The key fob access to the toilets and showers were a welcome safety precaution and the facilities were well-lit at night time.
Lovely family-friendly site and we would definitely book again if we were staying in the area.

Liked It was an amazing place with beautiful sun rise, good facilities this includes a shop that was reasonably priced. Fridge and freezer and washing facilities, toilet and shower rooms that was clean and well kept.
Disliked The only thing I would say is that the toilets and shower room are together so if someone is using the mirrors and sink when they have been in the shower and you go toilet and need to wash your hands it feels rude to ask them to let you wash your hands
