Pond field primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Big open space for kids to run wild, good toilets, there was a little playground by the pond which was good for the kids. Peaceful area. Lots of fire pits to choose from. Staff helpful.
Disliked We stayed in pond field which I didn’t realise didn’t have showers on but wasn’t too bothered about it. Just something to note. But it’s only about 10/15 mins walk to field camping site where the showers are located.

Liked Phenomenal views for walking, plenty of options for pitches with two fields. Had the best full English at Wheelers Wagon food truck, well worth the £9 paid. Everything reasonably signed posted and hosts were friendly on arrival.

Pond field primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked My experience at the campsite was amazing! This was my second time there in 3 weeks, and I was amazed to see the difference from my first time. The outside leading to the toilets has been revamped and. The road leading to the campsite has also been looked after. The owners are absolutely fabulous, attentive. Don't start me on the woods. You can walk for miles and loose track of time. We'll worth staying over.

Liked Little play park in the farm field with a woodland play park between the farm and pond field. Lovely women running the site who are so welcoming! Food is in the wheelers wagon is lovely and a good price! Ice cream stand on site which is really good value for money.
We originally booked to stay Wednesday - Friday (2 nights) but extended our stay on the Friday to come home Sunday (4 nights total) and was able to do this with ease. Plenty of space for everyone.
Disliked Requested a late check out, £10 cost for 3 hours which we thought was a bit steep, especially when the field was pretty empty and we wasn’t in anyone’s way.
