What customers say
This New Forest campground gets rave reviews for its stunning setting, cleanliness, and welcoming staff. Guests adore seeing New Forest ponies roam freely and the spacious, woodsy, pick-your-own sites. Toilets and showers are always spotless and well-kept. Its closeness to pubs, shops, and transit, including a train station, is a big plus. Minor gripes include occasional train/road noise and muddy spots in wet weather. It's a popular spot, with many planning to return.

Great place in the forest with close by facilities.
Primitive gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Great location to explore the forest by car, cycle or in foot. Next door to a station and decent pub. Beautiful countryside a short walk from the site. Very clean facilities and friendly knowledgeable staff.
Disliked You get a 10% discount in the pub next door but wasn’t told on arrival which apparently they should do. Hardstanding area gets very crowded. Limited shopping onsite but co-op 5 min drive.

Great family site
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely well cared for site. Very welcoming staff, all knowledgeable about the area and the Ponies.
Very close to lots of attractions, 20 mins from lovely sandy beaches and great access to the new forest walks
Disliked The road was a little loud for us we live very rural so it was noticeable for the first few nights.

Amazing place, views and staff. New beds needed.
Bell tent
Liked The bell tent has everything you could need (except a kettle) it was amazing and clean with beautiful views.
Disliked The beds were so hard like sleeping on wooden boards, and futon are on the small size.
Could also be enhanced by some nice outside seating rather than just a picnic bench.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Toilets and showers are cleaned regularly.
Disliked Being treated like children with the rules, my family and I were playing cards at 22.40, no music was playing, however we did laugh from time to time, the wardens came over to ask us to keep quieter I asked if anyone had complained they replied no, the wardens are and we have to get up at 7.30!!!, could not believe it, it’s a bit like taking a holiday in a prison camp, could not wash breakfast bowls up at 7am it was closed, not convenient if needed to get out early.
