Liked: Amazing quiet place we enjoyed the walks. Next to a bird pond enjoyed bird watching. Definitely going back
Clean
Disliked: Fire wood was expensive.
Shower was not working my last day.
When we were intially booking it showed that visitors were allowed and where to leave by 21:30 after we got our booking confirmation it stated that no visitors allowed. There’s some misinformation on the booking page then.
On Saturday evening there is a large family that came, the campsite states strictly no music but this family was playing their music, while we did not mind the music we were a bit disappointed after they continued to make some noise after the quiet hours and this went on for hours till they left disrupted our sleep.

From the manager: Hi, Firewood is £9 for a huge net (much cheaper than forecourt prices and we have to buy them in)
Very sorry other guests were playing music which is definitely against the rules. If it was reported to us at the time we would have dealt with it,
The booking states visitors are allowed with approval. We charge day rates for visitors who are also using our facilities. We have three showers not sure all were not working? very strange.
Thanks for coming though and hope to see you again. All the best.
Recommend. It's an area with lots of hidden gems and lots to offer.

Liked: Neat well-spaced, well-separated and level pitches.
Hot showers.
Fire pits and picnic tables were appreciated.
Peace and quiet - no road noise at least.
Disliked: Some campers ignored the rules and were noisy until late and played music quite loudly. I'm glad we weren't too close!

From the manager: Hi Patrick, Thanks for taking the time to leave a ten star review. If we was alerted to the noise and music we would have dealt with it there and then. You can call on us anytime if there are problems. Sorry it happened. All the best.
