Everything was fabulous, exactly as described, amazing site!
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked EVERYTHING!! This site is a hidden gem. Its exactly as described. Spacious, quiet, unspoilt, the shower block/loos are brand new and better than at home ha ha, super clean also ! The owners are very helpful, someone was always around if we needed something or had a question, but they also left us to our own devices. We stayed 2 nights, Friday night there were 3 of us, Saturday night it was us on our own - in an 18 acre field, just amazing!! So much to do nearby, we brought our kayaks and launched in Lossenham Lane for a donation of £5 to the church, we had a brilliant stay, it was so relaxing. Hardly any wifi which was perfect for switching off. The stars on a clear night are awesome, my partner even managed to capture the Milky Way above our tent - pic attached. We will most definately be back, loved it!!
Disliked This isnt a dislike, more of a suggestion, to have some more hooks and/ or shelves maybe in the shower room to be able to put things on.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Location was beautiful. We choose our own pitch on the far side of the meadow and the chidren loved running about chasing grasshoppers. The host was really helpful and gave us a map of walks and pubs. We visited Bodiam castle which is great for kids and found a good place to canoe on the river Rother. The Castle Inn next to Bodiam Castle was a great place to eat. Good Sunday lunch. Lots of space for kids to play.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Nothing
Disliked The gate was locked no answer no one was there luckily I went by motorbike and I got through a side gate I drove up to the farm house to check in couldn't find anybody so parked up near the so called shower/ toilet block looked at the camping bank there was a 45° angle on the so called field I looked over to the bottom corner and there was a campervan .this field is approx 800 yards long and I could hear the road traffic .
The grass on the so called field was 8 inches tall and the border line around the field had been cut shorter. With all that and the Thunder and rain predicated I didn't want to get washed away so decided to leave and go home.
The farmer did turn up opened the gate and let me go.
