What customers say
Great family site, praised for cleanliness, friendly staff & location. Campfires ok. While many love the vibe & space, some noted noise, limited facilities & occasional wash-up area cleanliness issues.

Really enjoyed our stay, very clean, friendly and pleasant
Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely clean facilities, very friendly people and owners. Quite for the most part.
Disliked Lack of privacy in the toilets, for example the toilet door is has a big gap underneath. The step to the toilet is bit high for disabled guest (I use a crutch).

À good site with easy actress to Hastings which is why we were there
Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely clean facilities. À nice quiet site with plenty of space and we were permitted to have a fire on the ground. Friendly and helpful site staff too
Disliked The site sloped slightly and the only really level areas were round the edges. There wee plenty of edges though

Good value for money budget site…
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Good value for money budget site close to Hastings. Showers and toilet block on site providing M and F showers and toilets, no cubical with just a sink for a wash. Large outdoor wash up area. Chemical disposal point (without a tap which we found strange). Two large camping fields but not very level. Dogs welcome. We stayed a second night in the end.
Disliked Possibly let themselves get a little over booked on August BH weekend - very busy ins both fields with lots of large groups.
Showers could be cleaned/checked a bit more frequently by staff.

Good, but very busy and noisy over the August bank holiday weekend.
Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The two ladies that manage the site are super helpful and nice, the shop is well stocked and the showers are hot if you get in early. You can pitch anywhere and it’s pretty spacious.
Disliked Sadly I don’t think two sinks and three showers (for women) are enough to serve such a busy campsite, and hot water runs out quickly.
It’s a shame there isn’t any hot water to wash up, only cold.
It’s great that you can book in a group but maybe there should be a limit as some people were camping in huge, noisy groups.

Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Good site, with friendly staff, facilities were well maintained and clean. Kids loved the playground and sandpit.
Disliked Showers quickly ran out of hot water (but it was exceptionally busy over bank holiday weekend)

Large 2,field site with just 3 f loos, allows large groups and fires
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Last minute booking - large, friendly site.

Es espacioso.…
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Es espacioso.
Disliked Muy pocos baños para tantos campistas.
Cuando se duchan varias personas a la vez, el agua se corta y no sale apenas, además de salir fría.
El camping por la noche huele mucho a humo porque la mayoría de campistas hacen fogatas.

Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Very friendly and helpful hosts. Good atmosphere for groups. Good location for nearby Hastings and Battle.
Disliked Lack of nearby water taps and toilet facilities, which also meant a lot of cars were driving around, and queuing (as it was a very busy bank holiday weekend)
