Lovely off grid delight!
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Quiet and feels off grid and wild. 4 Portaloos which were the cleanest i've had all summer. Plus a very good shower available for very fair £2. Lovely chap on site always seemed available for directions or help. Walkable to many things, including 3 pubs, bodiam castle, the steam train, the river for kayaking or paddleboarding, and the hub cafe. Really lovely countryside - went out for a few hours and barely saw another person! true off grid heaven.
Disliked Can't say I disliked anything, but maybe somewhere to wash up pots would be handy.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely view over fields and Bodiam castle in the distance.
Disliked The field was 80% overgrown spikey weeds so there wasn't much room for the kids to run free or ride their bikes.
Also, for a rural camping experience the pitches were a bit too close.

Liked Excellent stay at Damson Field - rustic feel but with all needed amenities. 3 pubs within walking distance and an excellent view of Bodiam Castle and further into the Weald. Terry was also fantastic and very helpful. Will definitely try and stay here again!
