What customers say
Meadow View is a small, friendly site praised for clean facilities and welcoming staff. Good location for exploring, with an on-site bar/cafe. Pitches, especially grass, are sloped, and some found it a bit cramped. Showers cost 20p for 4 mins. Excellent value, many would return.

Would not go back, shame as could be a great site.

Liked Nice site with clean toilets and showers.
Grey waste and chemical toilet disposals were clean and accessible with good lighting.
Disliked Lots of sited caravans dotted around site and all seem to have dogs, but the dogs are walked around the pitch up sites to do there business on our grassed areas where we sit and eat when weather is fine, not wanting to watch a dog going to toilet while we are sat there eating. 🙁🤮

Power optional gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Nothing
Disliked A Trailer park feel with mainly residential pitches, hardstanding pitches for caravans are shaded in the afternoon and are away from the camping field so absolutely no atmosphere of fellow campers due to residential pitches. Unable to comment on toilets and showers as did not use, bar and cafe were shut this weekend!

Liked Pretty much everything :-)
Its a great site, the pitches are roomy, the facilities are excellent and plentiful. Also as a woman traveling alone (albeit with big dogs), it was very secure, which I appreciate alot.
The vending facilities are next level. I was seriously impressed. Using the term 'vending machine' is an injustice.
There is a park for the dogs which is also beautiful and large enough for 4 setters to run off their energy.
The area is beautiful. We were literally listening to owls hooting and saw an owl flying from the trees for about 500 yards before it went back into the trees.
It felt like a natural oasis.
However, the WIFI is great too. While I was watching the dogs and the birds and soaking up the sun, my cousin was on the next pitch watching the Saturday afternoon football :-)
Great walks and beaches near by.
Literally everything you could wish for.
PS - Pitches are lovely and level.

Liked Meadow View was a lovely friendly place to stay. Great facilities with a cafe and bar. Nice toilets and showers and a access to a laundry room etc.
Excellent to have water taps out on the pitches rather than having to come back to the hub every time (it is surprising how much water you can get through ESPECIALLY with Dogs.
Disliked It was a shame that there are no walks for the dogs (or kids) from the site itself. you had to drive off site to find a good walk.

Perhaps do a check list Clean toilets empty bins clean sinks

Liked Owners friendly, was shown where to pitch up.
Needed code to get in and out of camp, which was very re assuring for safety.
Disliked Didn't like the fact dogs were walked to pee and poop on the camping field, not at all ideal the thought of pitching up on dog skids.
No bin had to take rubbish with us every day to put in bins in places we visited.
Also being disabled, no disabled access to the toilets and showers.
Cafe was not open and bar only open on Friday night, so had to eat and drink elsewhere.
The toilet bins were overflowing in most of the cubicles, wetwipes, sanitary towels and tampons
Possibly nappies.
Need to open up doors and make it disabled friendly, with bars on walks to help us to get on and off the toilets, very low toilets.

A lovely site with clean facilities and friendly staff.
Power optional grass campsite
Liked It a small pitch so it wasn’t overly busy which was nice. The toilets/showers were clean and you was able to use the facilities at ease. The person/s running the pitch for very helpful and friendly.
Disliked The back spot where the tents are pitched there is an area which is hidden to an extent but sadly looks like a dumping area.
