What customers say
Whinney Hill Farm: beautiful, peaceful setting with spotless, quality facilities (incl. composting toilets/showers). Friendly staff, tranquil vibe, lovely views. Some find carrying gear tough (no cars on pitch) & note horseflies. Work with racehorses is a bonus.

Beautiful location and so much wildlife…
Serenity bell tent
Liked Beautiful location and so much wildlife nearby. Deer, Hare, and a variety of birds. Watching the Swallows and House Martins dart over the field while having a morning coffee was a treat. We heard Owls late at night and Jays further down the end of the field.
We stayed in the bell tent and had the campsite to ourselves. Very well put together and the awning out front was very helpful considering the wet weather we had during our stay. The welcome bottle of prosecco was appreciated!

We will definitely come back.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lots of space, great views, friendly host, good loo facilities. Giod price. Great cause.
Disliked Might be useful to advise people staying that it's a big site with only a small number of tents at a time to prevent people camping unnecessarily close to others.

Great site
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The space was great, not over crowded, kids had space to play. No one bothered us and just let us be, to enjoy the lovely scenery. Communal fire pit is a great idea. Everything is well thought out on site. Toilets won't be for everyone but they're just something you get used to, better than any portaloo.
Parking at Beck Bull only 10 minutes away and a play in the River Lune not to be missed

Peaceful Paradise
Serenity bell tent
Liked Hearing the BTRC horses Whinney means it’s the most appropriate name for this site. The tent is large and luxurious with a very comfy king size bed. Spectacular views and well maintained facilities.

Lovely stay, happy memories made
Serenity bell tent
Liked The king sized bed was really comfy and we loved the peace and quiet. The little extra touches were really appreciated. Lovely area to sit and relax (and space for a 2 year old to burn some energy) but also close to some nice places to explore
Disliked The composting toilets!
