If you want to stay somewhere for your kids to run around screaming
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The campsite was flat, with toilets and water access.
Disliked Most flies ever come across at any campsite, all very stung today.
We had young children, which were in bed trying to sleep from 9. No one could sleep due to the screaming of kids running round and using torches. This went on past midnight.
Toilets very cramped and lots of damp which was coming through the chip board
No warm water.
Friendly groundsman toilets and shower a plus level pitch & nice grass

Liked Great campsite and location thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Disliked Cold showers but in this weather wasn't bothered as it was quite refreshing
Overall, enjoyed our stay in a good location and exceptional weather
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Location, the space and the beautiful weather. Host was also very friendly and kept the toilets clean, I was dreading the early morning toilet rush but needn't have worried.
Disliked There are no rules about late night music but the worst of it was young kids running around, screaming and shouting until we'll after midnight playing in the middle of the field. I know speaking to other campers and those with young families this was an issue and off putting. Also, the site was busy, full in fact, but it seemed that parking cars and setting up tents, gazebos was a bit of a free for all and could have been organised better, or clearer guidelines.
Relaxed campsite.Pick where to park & set up. Will visit again.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great location with easy access to the canal. Great for using our paddle boards and even a lovely place for a swim. Loved watching the swans, ducks and other birds on the water. Relaxed campsite. Easy arrival/check in.
Disliked Unfortunately not all campers were considerate of others. Children running around and screaming gone 12am. It was the screaming that was annoying.
Great Campsite Amazing Hosts Thank You

Level pitch facilities were clean but basic
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Nice site, owners were very nice and helpful. Site was out of the way which I like but near enough to get to Lancaster and loads of walks around the area.
Disliked It was a bit noisy with the fork lifts beeping all the time but after a bit you don’t hear them
Might of been a bad weekend to go but wouldn’t return there
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Easy topics up all together no actual pitches set out great for group bookings
Disliked Toilets were disgusting not clean poor lighting no room to get in and shut the door behind you unless you stood to side of toilet
Noisy people were singing at 2.30 in the night others arguing
There is an opening onto the canal which could be good for kayaks etc but also too easy for young children to access
