Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.- The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
- Group bookings of 4 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
- No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- The park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
- Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.
- Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
- No gas barbecues allowed.
- No electric barbecues allowed.

Liked: Quiet site, good views and although you could see the motorway a way off, sound was not an issue. Grass recently cut. Toilet and shower block a decent facility and added bonus of bins and pot wash outside
Disliked: Nothing of note. The ground is undulating but there was plenty of room to find a level enough spot

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: The campsite was a field which had short grass on a working farm. Part of it is on a slight slope but with plenty of flat space too and the view was beautiful. Julie was lovely and friendly and I could choose where to pitch my tent. The washroom had 2 toilets and 2 showers which were very clean. The water was hot and there is a washing up sink outside. I would have been happy to stay longer than the one night. It was not far from the T-Bay services on the M6 so was a handy stop off for me on my way to Scotland. I can definitely recommend this site and would stay there again.

Great overnight so stop for is just off the motorway, we ate at the Westmoreland service station and it was only a shot drive away.

We do not provide chemical disposal for motor homes. This is indicated on pitch-up and should be visible when making a booking.
Our grass is due to be cut this week. We tend not to cut the grass at the weekend due to being open for visitors, especially since this weekend has been such lovely weather.

Liked: Lovely quiet site, could pitch our tent wherever we wanted. Very clean toilet/shower block. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and away from the noisy crowds campsite.

Liked: All the facilities. Top quality and clean. All the nice extras. Eg subuteo, plates cutlery tea and coffee an honesty box for the wee shop and the owner Karen was great

Liked: Beautiful quiet surroundings and very relaxed friendly atmosphere. Walking distance to a small village with a lovely pub and pretty walks from the camp site.
Disliked: The showers seem to be affected by other was use.
