What customers say
Solway Holiday Park: Mostly great! Clean facilities, friendly staff, loads to do, good food. Nice coastal location. Watch out for muddy pitches after rain and occasional noise. Upgrades are ongoing and appreciated.

Liked Really enjoyable stay and very clean, very quiet at night which is ideal for those with young families
Disliked Wasn't informed no kids entertainment would be on due to mod festival and the directions to the touring pitches weren't clear enough for when we arrived at night-time. Could be doing with having clearer lit up directions. No security at entry to park.

Liked We’ve just come back from a weekend camping at Solway Holiday Park, and honestly, this place is a hidden gem. There were six of us in total, including three kids, and we all had an absolutely fantastic time.
The tenting area is beautiful – loads of space, very scenic, and perfect for setting up camp without feeling crowded. The facilities were excellent too: the showers and toilets were spotless and well maintained, which makes such a difference when camping.
On top of that, the entertainment and activities on site are easily 5-star. There’s plenty to keep both adults and kids happy, and the staff really go above and beyond to make sure everyone is having a good time.
If you haven’t been to Solway Holiday Park yet, I’d highly recommend it. It’s top notch – a brilliant spot for families, groups, or anyone just wanting a great camping getaway.
Disliked Nothing - maybe the weather but still amazong

All about the money!!! No care for customers at all!

Liked Nothing.
Disliked Unfortunately a week before we were due to arrive, both my toddler & young baby were poorly, we was in hospital for 5 days (which covered the whole trip duration we should have been at Solway!) I contacted Solway as soon as they became ill to see if we could change our booking to 2026, I was informed they can’t change to the following year and I would have to go within the month. I asked to cancel our booking, to be told ‘no refunds within 6 weeks’… I explained I wasn’t to know the children would be in hospital, so how was I supposed to cancel before this? I didn’t want to cancel I simply wanted to rearrange to next year!! I provided hospital and doctors letters to prove my children were poorly and admitted to hospital and they couldn’t care less!!!
The only option we were given was to upgrade our booking to a caravan at a cost of £253!! We had already paid £180 for 2x tent pitches - I asked if I upgrade can that be for 2026? And was told no.
We was really looking forward to coming, and now I will NEVER book this place again, all money money and no care for customers at all!!!
