Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: It's a basic campsite but actually, that works well for me. A toilet and shower which is cleaned a few times a day, no ask to feed tokens into a meter to use a shower that has decent pressure and hot water ... perfect. Friendly to motorcycle campers like myself, it's also really well situated for walks into the Lake District.
Disliked: The toilet and shower block could be a bit smarter ...it's fine, but needs a bit of TLC to replace broken or missing tiles and the like. However, all perfectly serviceable.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: Great position for many walking routes, could get straight onto the fells from the campsite. Quiet area with a nice pub and a local shop just a short walk away, 10 minutes drive to Buttermere, Keswick and Cockermouth.
Disliked: It is what it is, a very basic campsite. Had everything we needed - toilet, shower and a place to wash dishes.
