Hawkshead Hall is a large grassy campsite with superb views on all sides of the site. We take advances booking for tents, motorhomes and touring caravans for 2 or more nights. We have a number of touring caravans pitches with electric available, however, as space is limited please book early to ensure provision of a place. A deposit of £15.00 is required for a non-electrical pitch - and £17.50 deposit for an electrical pitch is required to make a booking which can be made by card on 015394 36221. The site is a family’s only site, but couples and camping club members are welcome. We do not accept group bookings. Facilities include new build shower and W.C. block with hot and cold water, shaving points and electric sockets. An under cover pot washing area, drinking water points, and a freezer for ice packs. The milkman delivers daily to the site. Leaflets, maps and brochures on the area are available from reception.

Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty our small working family farm is surrounded by the Lake District fells. Being ¼ mile from Hawkshead Village and 3 miles from Ambleside, we are ideally situated to enjoy the Lakeland walks in this spectacular panoramic countryside. A great place to just get away from it all. The village of Hawkshead is just a ¼ mile walk down the footpath with shops, inns, co-op, chemist, post office and large children’s play area with football pitch and tennis courts for all to enjoy.
