  • A quiet site, located in the grounds of our family run gastropub.
As a caravaner, the Antrobus Arms in Cheshire is a real gem tucked away in the peaceful village of Antrobus. After a long day on the road, pulling into their small but well-kept site feels like a treat. It’s not a full caravan site—more of a friendly pub stopover—but that’s part of the charm. The locals are welcoming, and the pub has that classic country feel with wooden beams and a beer garden that’s perfect in the warmer months. The food is hearty and homemade—perfect after a day of driving or walking—and they serve a good range of real ales and wines. I’ve often met fellow tourers here, and the staff don’t mind a muddy pair of boots or a dog or two tagging along, as long as you’re respectful. It’s also in a great location for exploring the Cheshire countryside, with quiet lanes and scenic walks nearby. If you’re doing a tour of the North West, it’s an ideal overnight or weekend stop—especially if you like your stopovers to come with a pint and a pie.
