Small, family-run, and delightfully intimate, we offer just three exclusive bell tent and shepherd hut units, ensuring a tranquil hideaway from the demands of daily life. Despite our secluded setting, you're only a stone’s throw from the vibrant market towns of Holmfirth and Penistone, where local charm and heritage await. Situated next to the gentle river, behind the newly planted mini orchard there is plenty of room to spread out into the garden, do a spot of fishing or paddle in the river.

The Hut has one double bed, with a single bed over the top, the double bed can be turned into a sofa for daytime lounging.

The fold down dining table can easily seat three, or eat outside on your picnic table under the trees.

In the evening why not enjoy a BBQ and toast some marshmallows in the embers, or relax in a hammock with a glass of wine!

In the cooler evenings retreat back inside and light the hobbit stove which quickly warms up the living space.

The Hut has electric lighting and power sockets, powered by small solar battery pack.

Toilet and Shower facilities are available under the main house near the car parking, and a 7 person hot tub is available for hire (please book this with your glamping booking).

Sorry, no dogs in The Hut.

Please bring your own towels.

Whilst it's so beautiful here you may just want to stay on site and soak up the Yorkshire air, you can also head out and explore the area. There is plenty to do no matter what takes your fancy. Fine dining, live music, old fashioned cinemas, dog walks, wild swimming, local breweries or vineyards - take your pick! Holmfirth & Penistone - The market towns of Holmfirth and Penistone are about a 10-15 minute drive. Holmfirth is picturesque, lots of restaurants and cafes, music venues and bars. Some specialist shopping and we highly recommend the Chocolate Box sweetie shop. Penistone is a traditional Yorkshire market town, with convenient supermarkets as well as cafes, restaurants and shopping. Yummy Yorkshire is also a local must visit, delicious ice-creams from the parlour perfect for a sunny afternoon, or full English breakfast on a chilly morning. Trans Pennine Trail - The Trans Pennine Trail (TPT) near Penistone and Dunford Bridge offers a scenic and versatile route for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders. This section of the trail follows the old Great Central Railway line, providing a traffic-free path that winds through picturesque countryside and rolling moors. The trail is well-surfaced and gently rising, making it suitable for families and cyclists of all levels. Along the way, you'll find picnic spots, wildlife habitats, and even locally crafted sculptures. It's a fantastic way to explore the natural beauty of the area. Langsett Reservoir - Is a stunning water body located in South Yorkshire, near the villages of Langsett and Upper Midhope. It lies on the northeastern edge of the Peak District National Park and was constructed between 1898 and 1904. The reservoir is fed by the Little Don River and spans approximately 125 acres. The area around Langsett Reservoir offers breathtaking views, especially from the surrounding moorlands. Visitors can enjoy walking routes that weave through woodlands and open landscapes, providing opportunities for birdwatching and exploring the natural beauty. The reservoir is also popular among cyclists and horse riders, thanks to its bridleway network.

Bookings must not be for more than 28 consecutive nights.

Changes to your holiday

Changes cannot be made once you have booked.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: a £100.00 ($185.49) damage/cleanliness deposit hold is required prior to arrival and will be released within 24 hours of your departure date after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found. The damage deposit will automatically be pre-authorized in advance on the card used to make your booking.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
Refunds within the indicated cancelation period are only possible if the park is able to relet your unit/site.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
