What customers say
Great spot near coastal towns. Staff are friendly & helpful, pub is excellent with good food/entertainment. Pitches spacious & well-equipped. Facilities clean, though toilet/shower blocks are dated. Occasional railway noise noted.

Disliked Toilets and showers were not very well serviced over the bank holiday weekend. Out of loo roll and showers not clean.

Liked Not far away from Alnwick Castle and Amber
Disliked The facility was really dirty. The toilet paper was empty. It was really disgusting.
At the arrival there was chaos. No one knew that we were comin. We booked a gras standing pitch, but what we got was a shared place Hard standing.
The railway is really loud but the generator for electricity was louder.
It was to expensive for what we got.

Disliked Toilet block in need of refurbishment. Standing in dirty water when stepping out of shower... not nice. No shops nearby, nearest is 10- 15 minute ride into Amble.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Pleasant enough site, we used it as a base to visit family
Disliked Toilet/ shower block could be better, when we arrived the block was very dirty but it was cleaned later that day, could do with some TLC and a lick of paint.
All week it was like they did the minimum cleaning needed but saying that they were usable.
I think there must have been a problem with the electrics on site as there was a big generator running all week. quite noisy.
