What customers say
A tranquil, secluded spot with stunning scenery and forest trails. Spacious sites, generally clean, eco-friendly facilities (solar/wind powered). Owners are often commended as friendly and helpful. Some find facilities dated, others enjoy the rustic charm and quiet. Midges can be a nuisance, especially in warm weather. Perfect for nature lovers seeking peace.

Remote, peaceful, cheap fees.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely remote, peaceful location. Friendly welcome from the owner. Site is well maintained and facilities very clean. EHU pitches are close together, but seclusion can be found away from EHU. Ideal base for cycling quiet lanes and miles of forestry tracks in Kielder Forest. Unfortunately, my stay didn't feature any clear night skies. Also very reasonable site fees.

Not a bad site. Not brilliant but not bad.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Small, remote and quiet. No stupid rules, pretty much a grown up site.
Disliked The ablutions were badly outdated. The track leading from reception to the camp spot was not in great shape. No terrestrial TV signal. No WIFI. For the money paid I felt it was quite expensive
