What customers say
This pop-up site boasts an accessible location off the A1, with stunning coastal and castle views. Visitors praise the friendly staff, easy check-in, and neat, mowed pitches perfect for tents. The site's peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and value are highlighted. While an extra toilet would be appreciated, facilities are clean. Dog-friendly and allowing fire pits, it's a top pick for a relaxing getaway.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Basic and quiet site, good location for Holy Island, Bamburgh and local beaches. Good value for money Facilities very basic but not an issue for a couple of days if you prepare well. Amazing dark skies. Didn’t meet hosts but had no issues.

I'd maybe revisit this site in a few years
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Views. Caring owners. Spacious site. Great location. Close to interesting places to visit. I think this site has the potential to be really excellent site once the owners have got into their stride. Good site for family stopping just one night, or perhaps with their own shower facilities.
Disliked Not a site for anyone looking for peace, as while I was there it was busy with young families. Lots of car door slamming and excited children. Smelly toilets and no showers.

Basic site, great location & great to chill out and do your own thing
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Basic site which is reflected in the pricing . Site is comprised of two areas one being a grassy field type and the other more rugged pitches on a hill which I went for & enjoyed amazing views of the coast & night skies. Pitches aren't particularly flat but manageable . Two portaloos , some bins and a tap . Really enjoyed my stay.
Disliked Portaloos are never ideal but they are what they are , they were well stocked, reasonably clean & I was mentally prepared for them haha

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Lovely views, you can see the coast, Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island from the site. Plenty of space, great that you can have campfires, friendly owner. Good location and convenient for local tourism.
Disliked Slight hum from the A1 but distant enough to not be a concern for us. Bit slopey in places but some level spots.
