Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The shared kitchen and the showers were clean and modern the shower was a good temperature and the kitchen had two fridges and kettle and toaster which were a god send when we were not allowed a camp fire.
Disliked No camp fire or bbq allowed for cooking which can be essential for some

Gorgeous place to camp for couples or solo travellers.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Great site, lovely host, amazing views and close to the waterfall. Facilities were clean and parking was easy.
Disliked Wheelbarrows monopolised by some campers as storage until the Sunday so they could carry things back easily, road in was uneven but manageable, children and dogs quite loud overnight.

Liked Toilets, showers and kitchen really clean. Lovely location, rural but close to lots to do. Nice vibe on site.
Disliked Limited flat pitches for bigger tents but we did ok due to getting there on a Thursday and had a perfect spot. Would return!

Would definitely stay again
Disliked Pod decking would be great with a little gate but that's minor

Good stay, easy to find, wheelbarrows to help move bits, great views
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Stunning views
Disliked Only two indoor showers for the whole site, ran out of hot water one morning because everyone had showered

From the manager: Thank you for your review! I can only apologise for the lack of hot water; this was a temporary issue due to the boiler going off that morning - this was fixed by 12pm. There is usually ample hot water for everyone on site to have a hot shower in one of our four showers.
Great place. Would definitely recommend.
Camping pod
Liked Loved the location. So close to falling foss. Beautiful views. Relaxing and peaceful. Lovely and clean pod and facilities. Plenty of space. Car parking good.
Disliked Nothing.

Lovely site but needs a few more loos
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The location is perfect for Whitby, Robins Hood’s bay and the fosse waterfall.
The facility’s were modern
Quiet and beautiful site
Disliked most pitch’s are small, when we arrived it was quiet full and we struggled to find a pitch that could fit our 6 man tent we had to pitch on a non flat incline that caused water to pool on our tent . Most flat pitches were the right size for a 4 man tent.
It felt like a perfect site for solo or couple hikers who just need a spot for the night.
The facility’s are nice and modern but with only 4 toilets available for all pitches and camping pods some evenings when the site was fuller it was difficult to get access the toilets.
