Primitive grass and earth tent campsite
Liked Beautiful area for a pop up site and we had it to ourselves! Extremely peaceful night, all we could hear were owls! Easy one mile walk to the pub down the lane and views of the white horse on the way back. Toilets were very clean. Owner came to check on how everything was and was very friendly.

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked once we found the right site - there are two church farm camping sites near Thirsk, it was fab! just a field and two pristine toikets! owls hoiting in the night , close to the big white hourse and altogether lovely. Great pubs serving food nearby.
Disliked that we went to the wrong site first! this one is in kilburn, the other is a long term residential site.

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely site, great outlook. We loved having the cows in the field next to us. We walked up to The White Horse and as it was the Kilburn Feast weekend, we visited there after a drink in The Forresters Arms. Biggest double cheeseburger ever at the Feast! Thanks for having us!
