What customers say
Squires Cafe Bar Campsite is a popular spot, especially for bikers. Friendly vibe, helpful staff, and spacious sites are highlights. Great cafe/bar with good food, reasonably priced. Good base for exploring. Some find facilities dated; train noise is a noted issue for light sleepers.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Site was beautiful. Clean pitches. Great prices on food/drinks. The motorbike meets were amazing for the kids to watch.
Staff were very helpful letting us charge our equipment whilst there. Furfields dog park was amazing for our puppy £6 for 30mins or £8 or 1 hour - loads of jumps and free space to run around.
Also my son and his friend went fishing at “mushroom ponds” just a mile away and loved it £8 per day to fish.
Disliked Shower blocks were absolutely filthy although we seen regular cleaners throughout the day. Food was hit and miss. Noise from the trains between 6am
-12am but you get used to it after the first night 😅. There is also no ice rink anymore as stated on the website and no Sundays dinners served on Thursdays as stated on the website.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked If you live motorcycles you’ll be fine. We do although that wasn’t the purpose of our visit! If you’re in a caravan you can use your own facilities but under canvas you’ll need to lower expectations of facilities which rain desperate need of overhaul. Appreciated they got a LOT of traffic over a summer but we went just a few weeks ahead of a major rock & bikes festival so I worry for all those guys & what facilities will look like post event! Still enjoy the camping tho & I can appreciate what they’re trying to offer me. Staff lovely btw
Disliked Facilities tired & need investment.
