Liked Just the fact it had no kids. Quiet location miles from anything.
The guy that greats you was polite and does a good job keeping the grass, bushes etc tidy.
Disliked Made the mistake of not reading the reviews before we booked.
No pitch is anywhere near level. The toilets/showers had dead spiders and things just hanging in cobwebs. It got a little crowded on the weekend with a van just squeezed in next to us having no electric to plug into and where using the water from our pitch, then as they left the next morning left their rubbish near our caravan which I cleaned up.
It's fine for 1 or two nights max but comparing it to others we've been to its way off the mark, not value for money for £35 a night.

A gorgeous, quiet and peaceful little campsite.

Liked Lovely and quiet, clean toilets, easily accessible electric and water on each pitch, gorgeous village. 20min drive to Scarborough beach, fish and chips in the village and a pub on the doorstep! Just what we were looking for!! Thank you ☺️

A fantastic site with a great pub just yards away.

Liked Peaceful. Very tidy Clean toilets and shower unit. Plenty of room on the pitches. Buses to Scarborough, Malton, Helmsley and Pickering stopped right outside the venue.
Disliked No wifi (or I couldn't find it).

Good site but pls be mindful motorhomes prefer to be level.

Liked Pleasant location, good facilities
Disliked Allocate pitch (9) that was sloping and so could not level motorhome - even with levelling ramps. This devalued our stay a touch.

Lovely place to stay.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Peaceful site with close proximity to a pub which sells great food. The pitch was spacious and the site was very clean. Easy cycle to Scarborough and on a bus route to Pickering.
Disliked Only 2 toilets and showers which is fine if it quiet but may be tricky if it gets busy.

Complete lack of customer care and communication was poor.

Disliked The evening before our stay at 11pm I received a txt message to say they were full so had to cancel, I had made the booking 5 days before.
It was too late to book anywhere else and it ruined our weekend. I emailed them the day after asking for my deposit to be refunded, which I’m still waiting for, I was then offered a 20% deduction of future stays.
