Swallowtails is a peaceful, spotless, and tidy site with friendly hosts like Mark. Showers and other facilities are excellent. Great location for Pickering and North Yorkshire. Families, couples, and solo campers enjoy the level pitches, picnic tables, pizza oven, and games room. Many want to return.

Liked A lovely quiet site with good facilities and within easy walking distance into Pickering.
We stayed in our motorhome and would certainly use the site again with extended family who would definitely love to stay in the yurts which are very well equipped.

Liked Everything ! Small quirky site full of character, absolutely loved it. Very clean toilets and showers with just the right temperature. The sunset view is to die for, stunning. 10 minutes walk into town with shops and bars basically everything you need is at hand. Mark was so friendly and welcoming a perfect host. We will definitely be returning, a hidden gem.

Porta loos. Not a fan. Showers were ok but a bit basic.

Liked Location, pitch size, lots of games etc. that everyone can use. Communal fire pit.
Disliked Toilets, showers. Main gripe was we were there for two nights and nothing was cleaned.

However, I am a little confused as you asked to stay 2 extra nights, but seem to have changed your mind about the campsite after I would not give you a significant discount.

Showers and toilets were clean.
Kitchen was very handy.
Facilities for children were great. Loved the playroom, what a brilliant idea.

Disliked Just needed a light to light up the site it doesn’t need to be very bright.but in the dark it’s pitch black.im not sure that it had WiFi.
