What customers say
This peaceful, spacious site in beautiful rural surroundings offers a tranquil escape. Reviewers loved the quiet atmosphere, ample room, and lovely views. Facilities, especially the hot showers, were clean and well-maintained. Friendly hosts and farm animals were a bonus. A suggestion for a washing-up area was noted, as were potential queues for the single toilet/shower during peak times.

Roomy site, immaculate toilet block, friendly family, level pitches.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Quiet field with masses of room and level pitches. It was mowed, well kept and totally clean. There is room for hordes of people but very few actually stopped so we were so far away from anyone we never interacted. We actually camped next to the road as we loved the view. During our 1 week stay I think we saw less than 10 vehicles, so the road is no hindrance. Toilet and shower were immaculate and a pleasure to use. We had a friendly welcome from the family.
Disliked Nothing at all. Others have moaned that there is only 1 toilet for each sex but given we were virtually the only people on site, it was never an issue. Regardless, it would be worth the wait.
