What customers say
A charming, quiet, well-kept site with spacious, level spots. Facilities, like washrooms and showers, are often praised for cleanliness and hot water. The unique railway theme, friendly owner, and nearby attractions like the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway and Middy Bar boost its appeal. Most guests have a great time, though some recommend more facilities during busy periods and better signage.

Liked Great camp site. Generous size pitches and not too busy which was nice surprise for an August weekend. Dog agility area was enjoyed by our dog. Our daughter loved the light railway, which was only a short walk away (limited open times so worth checking before hand if you plan to visit).
Have found some campsite owners at other places to be a bit overbearing, but we were left alone to enjoy our weekend, which we appreciated.
Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Italian Carriage 2 bedroom camping pod (four person)
Liked Absolutely loved staying here. The railway carriage is such unusual place to stay but it was fabulous as the conversation was so well done. The beds were very comfortable, we had a great nights sleep. Great to have a seating and cooking area as well as a bathroom. Lots of room outside which we loved. Will definitely come back and stay again.

Disliked Nobody to greet us. No reception. Poor signage. Toilets and showers in wooden hut opening onto camping field with gaps top and bottom of door. Felt exposed.
