Stylish bell tents meet stunning Suffolk countryside at Manor Farm, a glampsite on a family farm just outside the village of Knodishall and a 10-minute drive from the beaches of the east coast. Lots of luxury touches have been thrown in at the five-metre lotus bell tents: as well as a hotel-quality kingsize bed and a woodburner, each one also has been kitted out with little extras including bathrobes, hairdryers, top-notch bedlinen and fluffy towels. A couple of extra single futons can be added if you're bringing the kids along. Outside there are a couple of deckchairs, a picnic table and a firepit for alfresco evenings (and as the farm has its own woodlands, the logs are provided free of charge…) A short walk away is a converted stable block that’s been set up to give each tent its own private kitchenette (with electricity) and bathroom (with all-day hot water so you can have a warm shower whenever you wish). Pick up bits to use in your kitchen (and drinks for deckchair sipping) in Saxmundham, 10 minutes’ drive away. Filling your time around here should be straightforward: the farm is just outside the Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so there are plenty of places to walk and explore before you hit the beach in Aldeburgh for fish and chips. And if you fancy a bit of time on site? Guests are welcome to use the full-size tennis court (with rackets and balls available to borrow) or relax on the lawns – which the owners suggest are particularly well suited to a spot of morning yoga…
