Very friendly and clean
Powered grass and earth campsite
Liked The showers & toilets were really good, with washing machine & tumble driers in both. There is an interesting caravan accessories shop on-site, that is open most days. We had some beautiful walks with our dog too & the site is very quiet; great for r & r.
Disliked If, like us, your fur baby is not "other dog" friendly it could be problematic, as you may come across 5 dogs, off lead, to be able to walk out of the park and enjoy the countryside.

Liked Rural location, water and electricity easily on hand. Even had a fly past from the Tornadoes from RAF Mildenhall 😊
Great little camping supply shop too, with very fair prices.
Ok for a stopover, close to Bury st Edmond’s
Powered grass and earth campsite
Liked Site was very clean, showers are in converted sheds but functioned fine, some resident caravans on there but all very friendly
Disliked Site name didn’t match name on pitch up making it hard to be sure you were in the right place.
When we arrived there was no one there to great us
A great little site.
Powered grass and earth campsite
Liked Nice size pitch, very helpful and friendly people. Clean and roomy shower and toilet facilities, although there are only two so you sometimes have to wait if the site is busy.
Booked thinking it was closer to Bury St Edmunds as that is what it came under but in reality it's closer to Newmarket. Not that this was a disappointment just a bit further than expected.
Disliked The elsan emptying facility doesn't have a hose, which makes it more tricky to rinse and clean, but that's just being a bit picky. 🤣
From the manager: Thank you for your review,
With regard to the Elsan point- we had a hose in place at the elsan point but were made to remove it by Anglia water as there's a risk of contamination with the hose being put into waste tanks - there rules not ours .
Loved this site and would return

Excellent location and site. Great for families, adults, dogs.
Powered grass and earth campsite
Liked Small site in a rural location with amazing night sky due to low light pollution.
Showers are good and the bathroom /washroom areas are clean, with very good facilities including washer and dryer.
Easy to book.
Near to local amenities such as shops, chippy and park for young children.
Excellent for watching the flights out of Mildenhall and only a short drive to Lakenheath.
Will definitely stay again.
Plenty of dog walks near the site.
Disliked Nothing
Don’t think it had WiFi but don’t need it or ask for it.
From the manager: Pleased you enjoyed your stay , thank you for the lovely revue.

Disliked Dogs free running around
From the manager: Thank you for your revue, apologies for the loose dogs , but its difficult to keep them on leads when its their home . Appreciate the feedback though.

Bell tent
Liked Loved it from the moment we got there, Mark welcomed us so well, hermioni kept us informed via text which was great. The tent was clean and comfy. We loved it all, we had a mini fridge topped up with water, milk and on the side we had coffee and biscuits. I didn't expect all that. LoVED it! It was very quiet, perfect as we wanted to get away from the London noise. Thank you 😊
From the manager: Lovely revue thank you so much .
