What customers say
This cozy, welcoming site earns praise for its peaceful vibe and walk-to-town access. Pitches are tidy, and owners are helpful with local advice. Some guests noted road noise, though often deemed minor. Elsan point location and site access have had mixed feedback, with some finding it tricky to enter from Bungay. One recent review mentioned a significant issue with management and other guests during an August 2026 stay.

Liked We didn’t like anything .
Disliked We arrived to find dogs , kids. and adults running around playing football . The owner was away . And his brother said he was told to leave us all to it .6 units , not 5 . We had to cram in between 2 units . And was told by the brother to hook up on pitch number 1 as they were leaving at teatime . But the guy chucked it on the floor . And said he was there 1st . He wasn’t leaving . Had paid his money and threatened to hit my husband if he didn’t move away . It was an absolute nightmare . The guy on the other side offered his hook up . And we accepted. Otherwise god knows what would have happened.. I would definitely not recommend staying here .unless you want a holiday from hell . We left the next day .

From the manager: We’re sorry to see this review, particularly as we made several attempts to resolve the situation at the time.
Although our normal check-in is lunchtime, we agreed to your request for a 9am arrival as a gesture of goodwill. While you were away from the site, another unit occupied the pitch you had intended to use.
When you contacted us, we offered assistance, an alternative pitch and a full refund, but these options were declined. Although we normally advertise five units, the site can accommodate six, so this was not itself an issue.
We were away at the time, but my partner spoke with you at length and did everything possible to help including advice, support and a full refund.
Regarding the alleged confrontation, we cannot comment on something we did not witness. We understand another camper subsequently offered you their hook-up, which you accepted, and no incident requiring our intervention was reported at the time.
We’re sorry your stay did not meet expectations, but we believe we made reasonable efforts to resolve the situation and wanted to provide this context for future guests.
