What customers say
This peaceful, eco-friendly site has spacious, private pitches in a wildflower meadow. Guests love the spotless facilities, friendly owners, and natural, back-to-basics vibe. Showers are basic (cold water), but the ethos and space for kids are appreciated. Great for exploring coast/Broads. Highly recommended relaxing escape.

Powered grass campsite (woodland)
Liked It's a really lovely and spacious site.
We booked a woodland pitch which comes with it's own picnic bench, and we was given flexibility on putting our tent in or out of the woods. There was also a free to borrow fire pit, grill rack and frying pan waiting for us.
The Meadow itself is exactly as described, with really good sized pitches circled around a wild grass field that is great for little campers to explore. We saw loads of bats and frogs too.
Communal area: I wasn't sure if me and my family would cope with the no hot water, no running showers, no frills part of this but the owners have thought of everything and worked really hard to make back to basic so easy. All utilities were kept consistently clean and any waits for the toilets or washing up were minimal. The little hut is stocked with everything you can think of that you'd need to borrow, and more things you didn't know you need. With the surrounding trees wrapped in fairy lights, the whole area is really very pretty.
Camp owner was very friendly and helpful ✨️

Powered grass campsite (woodland)
Liked We had a great stay away and really enjoyed our time here. The large amount of space made it feel open and relaxing, with wooded areas providing shade and protection from the sun. It’s a friendly, family-run site and you can tell they’ve thought of everything to make camping easy and enjoyable.
We did have an issue with noisy neighbours, but it was dealt with swiftly and professionally by the site, which we hugely appreciated. My son especially loved the pump showers – I was a little nervous at first, but they actually added to the experience, and he enjoyed them so much he must have had four a day (the cleanest boy on site!). The open space for kids to run around and the games provided were a huge plus, making it a brilliant family-friendly place to
Disliked No light in the shower.

Liked Pitch up double booked us, so the lady who ran Magpie meadow rang and offered to help us, she had no pitches left , but very kindly offered to let us park our motor home outside her reception area, which was so kind and very much appreciated.
