Small site with clean facilities. Friendly staff, level pitches EHU
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Conveniently placed as we needed a stopover after we went to the Thursford Christmas spectacular which was less than 10 mins drive away.
It was a level pitch with plenty of space and a picnic table. We were given a key for toilets/shower which were clean and working.
Owner really friendly and helpful. The Bistro looked lovely as welcoming. We had drinks but didn't eat, although other customers were saying how nice their food was. Only stayed one night as a stopover but it would be a lovely site well placed for visiting north Norfolk for a longer period. We would definitely consider returning if in the area.
Disliked Nothing
Although it's worth mentioning that the Bistro closes at 8pm each evening and is shut Monday and Tuesday.

VERY GOOD, A BIT PRICY
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked VERY CLEAN SITE,NOT A COMPAINT BUT IF SITE WAS FULL TOILETS AND SHOWER WOULD STRUGGLE A BIT, SITE NOT AS BIG AS IT LOOKS. IT'S REALLY A SITE FOR TOURING AS THERE'S NOWHERE TO WALK NEARBY, PUB IS REALLY NICE AND FOOD GREAT
Disliked OWNER / LANDLORD A RIGHT MISERY, BUT THATS MOST PUBLICANS (MUST BE THE JOB)

From the manager: I would just like to say thank you for your kind words about the campsite and bistro, although I draw the line at being personally attacked in public, if it wasn't for all the miserable landlords around the country people like you would have no where to rest your opinionated head. the comments are for the visitors to comment on the campsite facilities and bistro, not personally attack people. Many thanks the miserable landlord.
Suited us we were there just the one night.

Liked Good location for us with excellent Bistro
Disliked £36.00 at end of October! Was a bit steep. Toilets and showers were ok but could have been beter no loo roll in the 'family' shower but paper towells, but the opposite in the single toilet.

Excellent site with bistro
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked A small but neat and tidy site. Easy access from the A148, especially for us as this was our first trip in our new motor home. Adults only too. Level pitch with electric hook up.
Having the bistro on hand is a definite bonus and we had a very good evening meal.
Disliked Slight traffic noise from the main road, but you can’t have everything. We couldn’t find a tv signal or Wi-Fi but as we only stayed one night it didn’t really matter.

Liked Nice site with tidy and clean facilities. We ate at the pub which was busy and friendly. The food was good. We stayed when visiting Holkham Hall but great for all of North Norfolk.
