Located halfway between Worcester and Redditch (25 minutes’ drive to either), Church Meadow Campsite is a small, peaceful and adults-only site surrounded by arable fields and splendid Worcestershire countryside. ‘Peaceful’ is very much the operative word here – not only because this rural spot is blissfully quiet, with just a soundtrack of wildlife and the occasional neigh from the horses that live nearby, but also because Church Meadow caters exclusively to adults. (Though well-behaved dogs are also welcome.) Well-maintained facilities on site include showers and toilets; there's no loo roll, so please remember to bring your own. You're welcome to set up a firepit too, just as long as you purchase the logs and firepit on site. The site is in the sleepy village of Dormston, which is home to a pretty, historic church. A carp fishing lake and a traditional pub serving food (including a full English breakfast) are both just over a mile away (a five-minute drive or a 25-minute walk), while other amenities, including spots to pick up groceries, are on hand in nearby Inkberrow (five minutes). This part of the country isn’t short on stunning scenery, whether you fancy jaunts to National Trust properties like Hanbury Hall (15 minutes), the historic town of Droitwich Spa (20 minutes) or heritage villages like Broadway (30 minutes), at the northern end of the Cotswolds National Landscape. Church Meadow is also easy to reach, being just a few miles from the M5.

Liked Fabulous little camp site! Loved how peaceful it was, great dog walking options, huge pitches, extremely friendly site owner, facilities were very clean yes there may only be one but the campsite was fairly full and we never had to wait. Owners were so accommodating when we wanted two pitches next to each other. Great site & looking forward to going back.

Liked Fabulous little camp site! Loved how peaceful it was, great dog walking options, huge pitches, extremely friendly site owner who tried to help when we forgot a gas bottle, facilities were very clean yes there may only be one but the campsite was fairly full and we never had to wait. Owners were so accommodating when we wanted two pitches next to each other. Great site & looking forward to going back.

Liked Quiet site .
This site ok for caravans/Motorhomes if you are self contained.

Disliked Where do I start?

On arrival we were met by Ben who let us in through the locked gate ( bike lock) gave is the code . He was polite .

Toilets - No hot water to wash your hands , surely a health and safety issue.

No where to wash your pots and plates.

No loo roll , i replaced 1 of the rolls from my own supply as I didn't want someone to be caught out.
The shower and separate loo were in need of a major over haul.
A new shower curtain at the very least .
The site is in need of at least another bathroom/ shower.


Dog bag bin never emptied over the 3 days we were there , in July in hot sunny days.

There was a awful smell from the very green pond which was just next to the dog bin and on the way to the loos.

Some little solar lights would be good for trips to to the loo in the middle of the night.


The nearest pub isn't open .

I dont think this site is good for tents as it is.

There was old campers parked up with rubbish / car parts laying around .

At £60 + electric is a bit pricey for the facilities on this site .

Liked Quiet rural site, about 15 minutes from M5, dog walks from site, hard standings and electric hook up which doesn't constantly trip. Friendly owner and secure gated entrance. Walking distance to bus stop.

Liked Very quiet rural location. Quiet back lanes to walk around. Very reasonable price. Convenient location while we couldn't decide whether to go "up north" or head for the south east. Facilities are fairly basic and limited, but totally clean and well maintained as suits the nice quiet adult-only relaxed atmosphere.

Local attractions

At the White Cottage Garden (five minutes’ drive) every season bring a riot of colour – from spring daffodils and summer peonies, to autumn dahlias and red maple trees. Morton Hall Gardens (10 minutes) include an orchard and a rockery; the grounds are also known for their expansive views over the Vale of Evesham. The pretty historic town of Droitwich Spa (20 minutes) has an open-air lido for summer swims, plus boat trips along the Birmingham Worcester Canal.
