  • Dog-friendly site 10 minutes’ walk from riverside Upton upon Severn
  • Malvern Hills five minutes’ drive, and Tewkesbury 15 minutes
  • Fishing on site; restaurants and marina nearby in Upton
Black-and-white houses, a stunning riverside, a packed schedule of festivals and pubs to please fond-of-food punters: that’s a snapshot of Upton upon Severn, a waterside town 10 minutes’ walk away from The Old Allotments in Worcestershire. The USPs for this low-key site are just as pleasing: dog-friendly pitches, fishing on the banks of the Severn and facilities that include toilets and showers, an Elsan point and a washing-up sink. With such a handy location so close to the town, riverside walks or cruising down the river on a hire boat could soon be on the horizon – Upton upon Severn has a busy marina with a bar, restaurant and boat hire. There are supermarkets five minutes’ walk from the site as well as pubs, eateries and takeaways a little further away. Regular events take place at the Three Counties Showground (10 minutes’ drive), and The Old Allotments is also a handy base for exploring the natural beauty of Malvern Hills National Landscape.

Liked Clean site with well kept although small toilets. Showers also clean although dated. Very well kept site with picnic benches around and good chemical loo emptying etc A reasonably easy walk to Upton upon Severn - if you are fit enough

Disliked Couldn't get WiFi through our mobile data. There is definitely no fishing on site or access to the river from the site
