Beautifully kept, super clean campsite in scenic spots. Praised for friendly staff, spotless facilities & spacious, level pitches. Great riverside spot for walks into Stourport. Perfect for families/dog owners, with play areas & dog fields. Many guests highly recommend and plan to return.

Primitive grass campsite (riverside)

Liked Clean quite site, easy access to Stourport for a day out and two playgrounds for children. My Daughter and her friends had a wonderful time.

Disliked Shower cubicles a little cosy. Perhaps a family shower room for the future? Sorry if you have one and I missed this!

Powered grass campsite (riverside)

Liked Lovely campsite and the staff are amazing

Disliked Some people, not the fault of the site, have no respect for the facilities and how dirty they leave them, however, the staff were quick to clean as soon as they could

One other thing I would suggest, when a male cleaner is entering the female toilet/showers, they should knock first before entering or get a female member of staff to check

I saw a male member of staff entertained the toilet/shower block as I was leaving and there were women in the showers - not something either wants to see

Powered grass campsite (riverside)

Liked The location is amazing - and kept clean! Food / coffee van is a good touch- and was welcomed - toilets are kept clean - and the wardens all work very hard- we stayed riverside in a tent, the pitches are large but I feel we were very close to our neighbours. The park could be improved as both are quite basic.

Disliked We came as a family, with 3 tents- was disappointed to be in a line and unable to have our tent doors facing. We would have been better having 2 facing one way, then the third tent on in the next line of pitches so we could face- each other- (maybe we should have requested) didn't think until we was set up .

Disliked The wash rooms were ok not the cleanest and mould all on walls in shower only 5 showers in women’s which was a nightmare quite small shower block for such a big site.

Local attractions

Lickhill Manor Caravan Park is a short walk along the river from the canal town of Stourport-on-Severn. If you're not one of those lucky lucky sorts to have brought your own boat, meander here lickety split for canal trips, steamer cruises, amusements, heritage wanders and more at Stourport Riverside and Stourport Canal Basins: the Severn is the UK's longest river so you're bound to find something to get your whistle whetted. Elsewhere, this Worcestershire wildlife haven is a most convenient locale for other adventures, like a whopping total of 11 nearby fishing pools and the West Midlands Safari Park (or – a splendid idea – combining fishing with critters at the Shatterford Lakes Wildlife Sanctuary & Fishery). Two most interesting museums are in the vicinity: the award-winning Black Country Living Museum at Dudley, 26 acres with 80,000 items in its collection (and tram rides), and the Bewdley Museum, with resident craftspeople and loads of local artefacts. The 16-mile trip of the Severn Valley Railway is also a topping option as a heritage highlight, as are Hartlebury Castle and Worcester Cathedral within easy driving distance. If the kids like the West Midlands Safari Park, take them to feed the deer at Rays Farm just over the border at Brignorth in Shropshire; here there be llamas, alpacas, donkeys, micro pigs, rabbits and 25 owls too. And all ages will like a wander in nearby Wyre Forest, where there's also a Go Ape! for those feeling energetic.
