What customers say
Great spot for Malvern Hills walks. The Marlbank Inn gets rave reviews for food & staff. Campsite facilities are basic & dated, needing TLC. Some guests reported communication/organisation issues.

Fantastic pub with excellent food but disappointed with the campsite.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The Marlbank pub itself is fantastic, very friendly and helpful staff, fabulous food, it's the reason we come here for a one night stay every year and never disappoints.
Disliked Unfortunately the site itself is now very run down, the grounds need a tidy up, only 1 shower working and there was a leak in the female toilets.
If it wasn't for the fantastic food at the Marlbank we wouldn't use the campsite.

Liked Peaceful site and having the pub on your doorstep an advantage. We've been coming to this site for years due to close proximity to many places of interest and also the good food available at the pub. Unfortunately the kitchen closed at 7.0 on Sunday so we were unable to eat there on our last night.
Disliked The campsite has become quite neglected recently. We had difficulty attaching the electric hook up as everything overgrown with brambles. Andy , who I think is the owner of the pub , helped us with the set up.

Liked Good phone support. Quiet location.
Disliked Not value for money. The pitch was average, I needed chocs to level, the washing up and chemical disposal worked but were basic. Waste bin nearly full. Comparing with other local sites, this was not good - other local sites have far better facilities at £10 a night less. Needs a price review! My feedback is based on staying at other local sites nearly every week this year..

Disliked First impressions wasn't great!
Use of 1 shower, 2 toilets via pub
1 outside tap
Over grown trees/brambles
Poor lighting
Grass poor, lumpy ground

Ok for a couple of nights.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The friendly staff, a natural site with trees. No restrictions on times coming and going.
Disliked No one overlooking campers, awful couple of families disrupting the whole campsite late at night and 4.30 Am . Breaking tress smashing planters, fences etc to burn .
Only 1 shower needs a shower curtain as clothes get wet. Limited food choice for non spicy eaters. Next to noisy road.

Good value and would stay again
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The location was very good and convenient for hill walking and local towns.
The pub also was very good with excellent food and good real ale.
The campsite was small and comfortable with good pitches for single and larger tents as well as motor homes and caravans.
The facilities, toilets and shower were clean and functional although the wash up area was a little basic.
Staff at the pub were welcoming and personable and overall an enjoyable experience.

Liked Nothing
Disliked By a road - pitch was an extension to car park with road cones and a pile of garden waste one side. Access to the facilities was through the pub car park by the road and some of the facilities were not operating due t technical issues. Waited 10 mins and had to find someone at check in who turned out to be a young girl with feet up on a settee in the bar area. Electrics on site did not look like they were serviced either….
