Signage around the site

  • Quiet Worcestershire site edging the Cotswolds National Landscape
  • Worcester Cathedral 20 minutes’ drive and Broadway 25 minutes
  • Livestock on site; small essentials shop and a communal dining space
The family-friendly campsite at Lenchwood Trust is part of a charity set in 120 acres of Worcestershire farmland; it sits above the Vale of Evesham and on the edge of the Cotswolds National Landscape. From the pitches, there are views right to the Malvern Hills, peaceful walks through the site’s orchard, and ponies and cattle grazing in surrounding fields. Dogs are welcome, and there’s plenty of green space for exercising them (and your good selves too, of course). As far as amenities go, the level camping fields have electric hook-ups, chemical toilet disposal and a modern shower block with disabled facilities and a family room with baby-changing mats and shower. There are also areas for washing up and waste disposal. There’s a small shop selling basics, snacks and drinks on site, as well as a large and informal communal servery, where you can relax and eat together – particularly handy when the weather’s not playing ball. It’s equipped with basics including fridges and a dishwasher.

What customers say

Lovely grounds & helpful staff. Brilliant, clean facilities. Walks popular. Some found pitches close, showers tricky, and noted summer camp noise without warning.

Powered grass and earth campsite

Liked Nice surroundings, well kept site, good facilities. Lots of nice walks around the grounds. Nice small play area for children. Washing up facilities were good and the on site shop had range of things available. Although we weren’t able to take advantage of it the site offered a very reasonably priced cream tea

Disliked Pitches were quite close together. The shower didn’t really get hot water despite following the instructions. There was a family shower room which is handy but the seal has gone on the glass partition so the whole room ends up very wet which is unsafe with small children so we only used this once. The site didn’t inform us that the majority of space had been booked by a summer camp so there was a lot of noise and music from 8am until 10pm every day, this would have been nice to be forewarned of. There also doesn’t seem to be any noise curfew advised for the site so it was significantly noisy until very late - just something to be mindful of if you prefer a quieter site.

From the manager: Sorry we didn't live up to your expectations, but thank you for the review anyway.
It was the first time we had a summer camp at the same time as Pitch Up bookings, and we agree it didn't work, so we won't allow this to happen again. Thanks for the heads up on the family room shower seal; we can get that sorted. Wishing you all the best.

Powered grass and earth campsite

Liked Brilliant toilet and shower facilities,
Lovely and clean.

The cream teas that we ordered were delivered down to our caravan & the scones were still warm. Delicious.

Great space although it is sloping for a lot of the site.

We took a walk in the orchard and scrumped a few plums and greengages.

Owners very helpful, when I only wanted to have a nosey in the shop they were happy to open also when I enquired if they had a disposable roasting tin or something similar they happily offered to lend me a baking tin as they didn’t have anything inthe shop.

From the manager: Thanks for your kind comments. We hope to see you again sometime.

The bonus was there wasn’t any rush to get off site. Thank you!

Powered grass and earth campsite

Liked This site is beautiful, quite a relaxing, the staff are amazing so lovely and accommodating, the WiFi is brilliant on site by your tent. The views are amazing there is a little shop on site which is good for essentials. There is a little play park which the kids enjoyed a going round to see the horses. The shower block is very clean best one I’ve seen! When I asked to freeze my ice blocks they did with no hesitation.
