Easy to get to local highlights.

The area is adequately quiet, even though there is a huge sheep farm close by.
Disliked State of portaloo in general. Unsure of better alternatives to suggest.

Bell tent (six person)
Liked Fabulous small campsite, really comfortable bell tent & mattresses, beautifully presented with fairy lights in each tent and the shared areas.
Enough in the countryside to feel really relaxed and quiet with a nice wooded area & lake to explore, but easy to get to.
Good basic shared facilities (kettle, tea/coffee, toaster & fridges), some games/activities provided & bbqs & firepits for hire.
Overall the site is well maintained with basic but clean loos & showers.
Very friendly and helpful host Andy too. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return sometime for longer.
Would definitely recommend!
