Good campsite, will stay again
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Close proximity to Tanworth-in Arden, good showers and toilets, plenty of food on offer (which we did not buy so can not comment on the quality).
Disliked The field we camped in was somewhat uneven, could easily have turned an ankle. We were a bit confused about where and when to enter our vehicle registration.

Liked Great site with some good facilities. Looking forward to visiting again in the future
Disliked More staff needed in coffee shop as caused long queues and wait time for food and drink. Also ran out of sausages and bacon on the Saturday an hour in to opening
Long wait for Pizzas on the Friday night need to take into consideration busier periods.

Nice place we would come again.

Liked Great little site with pizza barn and cafe. Family orientated with particularly young children. Didn’t feel over crowded and nice enough facilities and play park. Families seemed friendly too.
Disliked There is a train track nearby that passes by but it didn’t really disturb us. The information on pitch up mentions no sign written vans and we had one and all was ok but we did ring to check. It also states vehicles not allowed next to tent or a waning or groups but all were present in the field so I’m not sure why this is stated in terms and conditions.
Contact was difficult but did manage to get a response from the number on the contact in the end. Contact was hospitable and helpful.

Liked Nice and quiet
Facilities very clean
Lovely on site cafe
Disliked Random car outside the toilets with young lads in asking if this was a campsite?
The front gate on the roadside is out of order. A secure campsite is paramount, especially with my daughter and friend wandering around on their own.
Things for teenagers to do
Couldn’t find any showers
Lots of wasps around, I got stung waiting for Pizza. Plant mint, citronella, thyme, eucalyptus, and other strong-smelling plants around this area to create a natural barrier. And use citronella candles.

Great facilities, just a shame this is let down by a lack of care
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Lots of space; good pizza place; nice cafe; toilets, showers washing facilities all excellent. Very good children’s playground. Very convenient and easy to get to.
Disliked The ‘rules’ stated no cars by pitches and yet everyone else seemed to have ignored this -either enforce this rule or don’t have it. I would assume this rule is on safety grounds… so all the more reason to enforce it.
Mess from bbqs left along edges of field. Music late at night from other campers. Bits of plastic and rubbish dotted around
Everything was very hands off, we were greeted only by a text message with arrival instructions. In some ways this is a good thing and everything felt simple but given the above I ended up feeling no one really cared about the camping, couldn’t be bothered with it (even to enforce their own rules).
Finally, It’s a real shame all the trees have been removed from the road leading to the site. This was such a distinctive feature. Perhaps this was done due to disease or something but it’s a real shame regardless, massively detracts from the feel of the place. Hopefully this can be improved in time.
