What customers say
Beautiful views & relaxed vibe on this working farm. Loved the shop, friendly staff & farm animals. Great for hikers. Basic, clean facilities but some noted toilet/shower limits & muddy spots. Management is improving things.

Great location with lake views. Facilities are basic
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Location was good and lake lovely. Fresh milk and eggs from farm were such good quality. Welcome was nice and friendly.
Disliked The shower is £2.50 extra to use so we did think it would be of good quality. It was a very old electric model which unfortunately had a lack of power and kept going cold. Toilet facilities had nothing to dry hands with and sensor lights kept failing through the night. Very small meat selection in farm shop which was a shame as we did want to purchase from there to cook our dinner.

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked I got a warm welcome and thought the shop was great. There was plenty of room as it was late March and there were only three vans on site. The view of the Roaches, the lakes and the overall setting are excellent.
Disliked The toilets were clean and functional. But it's been a long time since I stayed on a site with only cold water to wash my hands and no towel or hand dryer. Otherwise 10/10.

Liked Lovely view over the lake. Owners were very friendly and accommodating as we’d booked last minute. Campfire available to rent, and a milkshake machine on site (which we made good use of). Toilets were cleaned daily.

Liked Great friendly welcome by owner and her dogs, lovely farm fresh produce to buy well recommended, this was a great location with easy access to local walks and pubs. The lake was beautiful to sit next to at night and the views where amazing.
Disliked It was a little early in the season so work still ongoing to level the ground on the site (this really needs some gravel). However it cost £16 for the night so wasn’t to bothered.
