Liked: Loved the tidy spacious electric pitches and well maintained surrounding gardens. Loved the field with football net. Fantastic shower /toilet /dish washing facilities. Quiet and safe with a coded barrier to stop any unwanted visitors. 5 min from Alton Towers.
Disliked: Around 20min drive from the nearest supermarket. Playground could use a lick or paint and some more equip such as a trim trail and seesaw.

From the manager: Very glad to hear you enjoyed your stay.
We are in a rural location so the supermarkets are a bit of a drive but there is the Londis in Alton village and the award winning Denstone Hall Farm Shop and Cafe in the village of Denstone which both both sell the majority of goods. There are very pleasant public footpaths across the fields to both villages which are only about one mile away which make lovely country walks.
Relaxing stay in the countryside.

Liked: Location was fantastic, it was very peaceful on site, clean facilities, check in process was easy
Disliked: I couldn’t get the wifi to work at all. No matter where I was on the site. Didn’t bother us, but some might book this site thinking they’ll have wifi

From the manager: Thank you for your comments. Due to our location WiFi can be unreliable. Many people just use 4G or 5G which seems to have good coverage on many networks.

Liked: The site is very peaceful and within easy access of Alton Towers and the Peak District. Well maintained and clean toilet/ Shower blocks.
Disliked: A not so troublesome issue but the showers are push button and only stay on for about 7 seconds. Whilst I have little hair the wife was not impressed. Happy wife, happy life!

From the manager: Thank you for your comments. Yes the shower timings is an issue. We have tried to alter this but it is not possible without replacing the whole system. We continue to look at alternatives.
Perfect for what we were using it for…
