What customers say
This tidy, quiet site earns praise for its prime spot near Alton Towers and lovely vistas. Guests loved the clean washrooms, roomy spots, and friendly staff. Kids had fun with the alpacas and playground. Showers are noted as being short and sometimes a bit temperamental with water temp/height. Wi-Fi can be spotty.

Liked Loads of space on our pitch. The kids play park and open space to play games. We loved meeting the Alpacas and Oscar.

Liked Great stay! The site is incredibly clean and peaceful with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We loved that each pitch has its own dedicated space, providing excellent privacy. It was a fantastic experience, and we’ve already decided to book another holiday here soon. Highly recommended!
Disliked We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the peace and the views. However, one minor issue was the layout of the electric hook-ups. It would be much better if every pitch had its own individual power point directly on-site; as it stands, my power cable was only just long enough to reach. Just a heads-up for others to bring a long extension lead! Despite this, we still love the place and will be back.

Liked The site was peaceful and quiet, the kids loved the play area and meeting the animals.
We had a super pitch but all of them seemed a fair size and laid out nicely so everyone wasn't on top of each other.
The barrier entrance helped us feel the kids were safer with no cars approaching unexpectedly.
It's about 10 mins from Alton Towers so perfect for those going for the day. There's also a bus stop outside (we didn't use it) which is convenient.
Shops and pubs are about 5 mins away.
Disliked We didn't use the facilities much but my 7 year old missed having a hair dryer after his shower.

Liked Excellent site in lovely surroundings. Good amenities and nice hard standing, level pitches. When we arrived a lovely chap booked us in and told us everything we needed to know about the site. Short drive or walk into Alton that has some lovely pubs. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
Disliked Only slight niggle, the wifi is non existent 5 pitches away from the amenities block, luckily phone signal was ok.
