16-amp powered grass campsite
Liked Nice peaceful site, excellent loos and shower block. We stayed in field 3 and pitched near to the fishing lake (more like a village pond). Fishing was good and complimentary. The owners of the site were excellent and couldn't do enough to ensure our happiness . Happy to recommend Newnes Touring Caravan Park.

16-amp powered grass campsite
Liked This is the second time of stopping here and yet again this site was spot on. This time i was on 2 in the top field which is closer to the toilets, walked into town twice which depending on you is about 20-25 mins walk, I would recommend the red lion pub for food, you wont be disappointed. I will definitely be going back, Thanks Robin and Jane for such a wonderful site.

16-amp powered grass campsite
Liked Site is very well maintained and well located with nice views. Plenty of shelter from hedges and the sites are level and free of stones, with no loose grass clippings. Showers and toilets were clean and well maintained despite the site being pretty full. The site warden was very welcoming and helpful on arrival. Absence of little people in mid August was a welcome feature.
Disliked Pitches were closer together than we are used to. Combined with an extremely loud snoring man in a tent on the next pitch meant we gave up and left a night earlier than planned (and yes we have earplugs for such eventualities but this was extreme noise that went on all night!) Would only visit again outside of peak season.

Liked Everything about the site was excellent, spotless facilities, wonderful location and short walk into Ellesmere. Robin ensured we had a pitch near the pond to fish which was much appreciated.
